The CMS-CDC Nursing Home COVID-19 Training Series will allow you to print or save Certificates of Participation after each live or self-paced video training. Please visit CMS-CDC Fundamentals of COVID-19 Prevention for Nursing Home Management to view the videos at a time that works for you.

You can bookmark www.nursinghometrainings.org in your web browser to review the trainings you have completed and print or save your Certificates of Participation. You can get Certificates of Participation for self-paced trainings or past live trainings.

How do I start using the CMS-CDC Nursing Home COVID-19 Training Series?

There are two ways to register for the CMS-CDC Nursing Home COVID-19 Training Series. You can view a training video or visit www.nursinghometrainings.org to register. You only need to register once.

After viewing a training video:

  1. View any of the training videos housed on www.QIOProgram.org. Wait until you see the Thank You For Watching screen after the video ends. Please be patient - this could take up to one minute.
  2. Click the Access Certificate button.
  1. The Register for the CMS-CDC Nursing Home COVID-19 Training Series screen appears.
  1. Complete the First Name and Last Name fields. This is your Username. This name will appear on any Certificates of Participation.
  2. Enter your business email address in the User Email field. This field is required.
  3. Please enter a password of your choice in the User Password field. This field is required.
  4. Please enter your City, County, State, Zip Code, Name of Organization or Nursing Home, Address of Organization or Nursing Home and CMS Certification Number (CCN) for your facility.
  5. Click the Register button. A Lessons screen appears.
  6. A registration confirmation will be emailed to you from the CMS-CDC Nursing Home COVID-19 Training Series.

  2. Click Register at the bottom right of the landing page.
  1. The Register for the CMS-CDC Nursing Home COVID-19 Training Series screen appears.
  1. Complete the First Name and Last Name fields. This is your Username. This name will appear on any Certificates of Participation.
  2. Enter your business email address in the User Email field. This field is required.
