The 2018 Centers for Medicare & Medicare Services (CMS) Quality Conference will bring together nearly 2,500 CMS program leaders, contractors, federal partners, clinicians, patients, advocates and thought leaders in Baltimore, Maryland on February 12-14 to develop and spread solutions to some of America's most pervasive health system challenges.
The collaborative format of the conference, and strong focus on putting patients first using data-proven outcomes, is underscored by this year's conference theme, Advancing Patient-Centered Care. The conference will highlight new strategic directions and priorities among all stakeholders and expand collaborations for high-quality, affordable, patient-centered care.
Conference topics include, but are not limited to, the following: Population Health Improvement, Health Equity and Rural Health; Person and Family Engagement; Value, Incentives and Reporting; Behavioral Health, Prevention and Treatment; Safer Care and Burden Reduction; Addressing the Opioid Epidemic; and Chronic Disease Management.
Breakout session tracks will focus on population health improvement and health equity, burden reduction, safer care and person and family engagement, among other topics.
Master Classes for Continuing Medical Education/Continuing Education Unit credit will be available at the conference.
