Help Spread the Word!:

The Quality Improvement Organization (QIO) Program will hold the next installment of its free “Sharing Knowledge, Improving Health Care“ learning series for health care providers on Tuesday, May 2, 2017, from 3:00 to 4:30 p.m. ET.

This National Learning & Action Network (LAN) session, entitled “Immunization: Everyone’s Responsibility,” aligns with the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services’ (CMS) Quality Strategy goal of working with communities to promote effective prevention and treatment of chronic diseases, and will focus specifically on strategies to encourage immunization among Medicare beneficiaries and health care workers.

The online event is open to beneficiaries, families, providers, practitioners, partners and Quality Innovation Network-Quality Improvement Organizations (QIN-QIOs), and will feature guest speakers Shiree Southerland, CMS; Dr. David Kim, Centers for Disease Control and Prevention; Abhi Ray, TMF QIN-QIO; and Carrie Beck, HealthInsight QIN-QIO.
