The Quality Improvement Organization (QIO) Program will hold the next installment of its free “Sharing Knowledge, Improving Health Care” learning series on Tuesday, November 1, 2016 from 3 to 4 p.m. ET.
The recently announced topic for this National Learning & Action Network (LAN) session is “Effective Co-Management of Mental and Physical Chronic Conditions,” which will align with the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services’ (CMS) Quality Strategy goal to promote effective prevention and treatment of chronic diseases.
The virtual training session is open to beneficiaries, families, providers, practitioners, partners and Quality Innovation Network-Quality Improvement Organizations (QIN-QIOs), and will feature guest speakers Eric Christian, MA, LPC Center of Excellence for Integrated Care; Paul Ciechanowski, MD, MPH, Samepage Health; and Christina Goatee, MSN, RN, Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services.
