Introducing the 2016 QIO Program Progress Report

The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) has released its 2016 QIO Program Progress Report.

Available now to view and download, the annual report provides highlights from the second year of the Quality Improvement Organization (QIO) Program’s five-year performance period, featuring data-driven results and success stories from the 14 Quality Innovation Network (QIN)-QIOs and two Beneficiary and Family Centered Care (BFCC)-QIOs.

The success stories cover topics ranging from promoting antibiotic stewardship and care coordination, to quality reporting. In addition, the report shares specific examples of successful quality improvement activities from around the country, as well as top takeaways from the 2016 CMS Quality Conference.

With an interactive and engaging format, the report can readily be shared with colleagues and any stakeholders involved or interested in improving the quality of care for Medicare beneficiaries.
