The Quality Improvement Organization (QIO) Program will be holding the next installment of its free “Sharing Knowledge, Improving Health Care“ learning series for health care providers on Tuesday, Feb. 2, 2016 from 3:00 – 4:00 p.m., EST.
The virtual training session, entitled “Trends in Person and Family Engagement,” will feature guest presenters from the Institute for Healthcare Improvement (IHI), including Angela Zambeaux, BA, Senior Project Manager and Martha Hayward, Faculty Lead for Public and Patient Engagement. Zambeaux and Hayward will discuss IHI’s Always Events framework, which holds promise as an approach to accelerate improvement efforts aimed at enhancing patients’ and family members’ experiences of care.
Additionally, Beth Hennessey, RN, BSN, MSN, Executive Director and Paula Suter, BSN, MA, Clinical Director from the Sutter Center for Integrated Care, will outline the Center’s person-centered practices and tools.
Jeneen Iwugo, MPA, Deputy Director of the Quality Improvement and Innovation Group (QIIG) in the Center for Clinical Standards and Quality (CCSQ) at the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) will also be featured as a guest speaker.
