More than 1,250 health care quality stakeholders from the Quality Improvement Organization Program, End-Stage Renal Disease (ESRD) Networks, Medicaid grantees and other health care organizations will convene December 2-4, 2014 in Baltimore, Maryland for the 2014 CMS Healthcare Quality Conference.
This year’s theme, Moving from Vision to Reality, focuses on putting the CMS Quality Strategy into practice. Breakout sessions will cover topics such as safer care, patient and family engagement, innovation and reducing disparities in health care. QualityNet’s learning and action format will equip participants to apply what they’ve learned right away through:
Participants will leave Master Classes with actionable strategies and skills to improve health quality in their communities. Continuing Education Credits will be offered for the following Master Classes:

The QualityNet mobile app (available for Android and iPhone) gives participants access to the conference agenda, session descriptions and speaker bios, and can be customized based on participants’ interest in conference tracks. Social Media Sharing
Participants can follow the @QIOProgram handle on Twitter for real-time information and updates before, during and after the conference. By tweeting with the official conference hashtag, #QualityNet14, participants can connect with each other and share what they’ve learned with those who can’t attend. A Digital Media Help Desk will be located just outside the main ballroom to offer participants tips for enhancing their conference experience through social media.
