The Quality Innovation Network National Coordinating Center will hold its next Antibiotic Stewardship National Learning and Action Network (LAN) Event on Wednesday, August 29 from 3:00 to 4:30 p.m. ET.
This free online training, titled “Reducing Inappropriate Antibiotic Prescribing in Outpatient Settings Using Behavioral Interventions,” will address how to reduce the prescribing of unnecessary antibiotics while maintaining patient satisfaction.
The event will feature Dr. Daniella Meeker with the University of Southern California who has researched interventions designed to improve care decisions without limiting the choices available to physicians. Also speaking are Dr. Katherine E. Fleming-Dutra from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and Dr. Larissa May of the University of California-Davis.
The August Antibiotic Stewardship National Learning and Action Network (LAN) Event is open to all Quality Innovation Network-Quality Improvement Organizations (QIN-QIOs), providers, partners and beneficiaries.
