The free event, titled “Improving Immunization Rates: How to Engage and Effectively Communicate,” will discuss supporting patients and health care workers on their immunization decisions. Tips on how to promote this initiative will be shared by the speakers to help providers, partners and Quality Innovation Network-QIOs (QIN-QIOs).
The event will feature Dr. Gregory Poland from Mayo Clinic’s Vaccine Research Group, and Ms. Caroline Poland from the Counseling Center at Taylor University. They will share their research findings on the Preferred Cognitive Styles and Decision-Making Model, which can help influence decision making for patients and health care workers when making a decision on immunizations.
The November National Learning and Action Network (LAN) Event is open to all QIN-QIOs, providers, partners and beneficiaries.
