The Quality Improvement Organization (QIO) Program will hold the next installment of its free “Sharing Knowledge, Improving Health Care” learning series on Tuesday, August 2, 2016 from 3 to 4 p.m. ET.
This National Learning & Action Network (LAN) session will focus on “Driving Safer Care” and will align with the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services’ goal to make care safer by reducing the number of harms caused during its delivery. Attendees will also hear how public health safety awareness contributes to ending the harms caused by antibiotic resistance.
The virtual training session is open to beneficiaries, families, providers, practitioners, partners and Quality Innovation Network-Quality Improvement Organizations (QIN-QIOs), and will feature guest speaker Carole Moss, the Founder of Nile’s Project. Additional speakers will be announced closer to the event.
