The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) “Medicare & You” handbook is mailed to all Medicare households each fall. It includes a summary of Medicare benefits, rights, and protections; lists of available health and drug plans; and answers to frequently asked questions about Medicare.
This handbook is also available in Chinese, Korean, and Vietnamese. Using this handbook will make health care more accessible for the nearly one-third of Asian Americans who are limited English proficient. The translated handbooks are now available to download at Medicare.gov or to order from 1-800-MEDICARE for free.
