It illustrates how diabetes medicines work within the body. Health care providers can use this poster to share information about medications with their patients who have diabetes.
It is important for people with diabetes to know about rescue medications to help them avoid a severe hypoglycemic event. The poster also includes rescue medications for diabetes, including the glucagon nasal inhaler (Baqsimi) and auto-injection kit. These medications are listed under “Low Blood Sugar Treatments” at bottom of the poster.
