The Badge Buddy Program was developed by TMF Quality Innovation Network to help long-term care facilities and their vaccine champions promote vaccination among residents and staff. The Badge Buddy is a visual symbol long-term care staff wear on their badge to indicate they are vaccinated. There is also a printable quick-reference resource highlighting best practices for infection prevention including donning, doffing and personal protective equipment (PPE). This resource appeared in the Quality in Action blog article, TMF's Targeted Education Helps Two Rural Nursing Homes Increase Their Resident COVID-19 Bivalent Booster Rates.
