BFCC-QIOs help Medicare beneficiaries exercise their right to high-quality health care by providing assistance when beneficiaries have a concern about their care.

Hospital Quality Improvement Contractors (HQICs) are strategic partners of the QIO Program that help hospitals improve outcomes in several patient-safety-related areas such as hospital-acquired infections (HAIs).
