The Quality Improvement (QI) Times is an internal, electronic newsletter produced once a month by Data Validation Administrative and Contractor (DVA) Communications with news, resources and events for the Network of Quality Improvement and Innovation Contractors (NQIIC) community.

Quality Co-Op is a suite of new, members-only features on www.QIOProgram.org that launched on January 31, 2022 to encourage collaboration and coordination among NQIIC teams.

The Readmission Care Partner sprint, provided by the Eastern U.S. Quality Improvement Collaborative (HANYS Hospital Quality Improvement Contractor), allows hospitals to engage in an improvement project focused on the development or enhancement of their care partner programs. This comprehensive clinical delivery program supports hospitals and systems in operationalizing patient-centered care and the engagement of the patient and care partners throughout the hospital stay and beyond.

The Eastern U.S. Quality Improvement Collaborative (HANYS Hospital Quality Improvement Contractor) developed a syllabus for its ROADE Work series, a comprehensive and strategic approach in the opioid adverse drug event initiative. The opioid programming is concentrated into a “sprint,” using rapid-cycle change principles in order to see a large impact in a short amount of time.

This resource, produced by the Data Validation and Administrative (DVA) Contractor, was created for Network of Quality Improvement and Innovation Contractors (NQIIC) to provide information about NQIIC contractors and the DVA including:

The StAT (Standards, Approaches and Tactics for Infection Control & Prevention) Learning Series was produced by the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) for hospital administrators, clinical staff and infection control leaders. These mobile-friendly, self-paced training modules are about 15 minutes long include a certificate of participation upon completion.
