Antibiotic Stewardship for Nursing Homes is a toolkit developed by QSource, the Quality Innovation Network-Quality Improvement Organization (QIN-QIO) for Indiana, for nursing homes to support current infection prevention efforts or to establish new infection prevention programs.
Developed in collaboration with Indiana Department of Health and based on the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention's (CDC) Core Elements of Antibiotic Stewardship for Nursing Homes, the toolkit is an ideal reference for infection preventionists and other nursing home staff.
