Report of Foleys for Daily Device Huddles

This sample report, provided by the Louisiana Hospital Association, is intended to help hospital staff track the number of patients with a Foley catheter, number of days the catheter has been inserted, the indication/necessity and the length of stay for each patient. The report is intended to be used during a daily device huddle with nursing unit directors and hospital leadership to increase transparency and accountability, elevate the importance of improving patient outcomes and decrease inappropriate use of Foley catheters.
